THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD
เจ็ดมหัศจรรย์ของโลก
A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present
"Seven Wonders of the World." Though there were some disagreements,
the following received the most votes:

คำตอบมีต่างกันบ้าง แต่นักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ก็เลือกคำตอบดังนี้

While gathering
the votes,
the teacher
noted
that one student
had not finished
her paper yet.

ระหว่างที่รวบรวมคำตอบ ครูผู้สอนสังเกตุเห็นว่า มีนักเรียนที่ยังเขียนไม่เสร็จอยู่คนหนึ่ง

So she asked the girl if she was having trouble with her list. The girl replied, "Yes, a little. I couldn't quite make up my mind
because there were so many.

เด็กหญิงตอบว่า ค่ะ หนูไม่ทราบว่าจะเลือกอันใหนดี เพราะมันช่างมีมากมายเหลือเกิน

The teacher said,
"Well, tell us
what you have,
and maybe we can help".
ครูเอ่ยขึ้นว่า งั้นหนูก็ลองบอกให้ฟังหน่อยสิจ้ะ เผื่อพวกเราจะช่วยได้

"The girl hesitated, then read:
"I think the 'Seven Wonders of the World' are:
เด็กหญิงรีรอสักครู่หนึ่ง ก่อนอ่านสิ่งที่ตนเขียน หนูคิดว่า เจ็ดมหัศจรรย์ของโลก คือ..

1. การได้เห็น to See
2. การได้ยิน to Hear
3. การได้สัมผัส to touch
4. การได้รู้รส to taste
5. การได้รู้สึก to feel
6. การได้ยิ้มหัวเราะ to laugh
7. การได้รัก And to Love

The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.
The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that
we take for granted are truly wondrous!

เรามองข้ามสิ่งเรียบง่ายและแสนธรรมดาไปโดยสิ้นเชิง
